Surveys
Depending upon your needs, American Environmental Services, Inc.,
(AES) will conduct limited or extensively thorough asbestos surveys.
With thorough surveys, we sample all suspect materials in accordance
with AHERA and other applicable regulations. These surveys also
include examination of building records, analytical lab results,
and a written report of findings. The detailed report provides recommendations,
cost estimates, drawing(s) with sample locations noted, and photographs
of sampled materials.
AES will re-inspect previously sampled facilities, as required,
to assess the current condition of materials and make recommendations,
including cost projections for any actions deemed necessary.
Asbestos Abatement
AES prepares abatement design specifications and bidding documents
to assist with the bidding process (bid walk, summary of bids, selection
of qualified contractor, pre-construction meetings). AES will also
monitor all abatement activities on the site, and manage construction
activities for the owner. We assure timely completion of the project
in accordance with the plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
Operations and Maintenance Plans
AES prepares Operation & Maintenance (O & M) Plans, based
on complete survey information and including procedures for worker
protection, training, and documentation.
